Click the Arrange | Selection | Deselect All command or press the CTRL+ALT+A keys on the keyboard to deselect all selected objects. This command is useful when zoomed in on objects.
Alternatively, you can deselect all objects by clicking in the white space outside the objects, including the white space outside the page in the log pane.
